Boris Gladun, Physical Therapist in Lakewood, WA.jpg

Boris gladun, PT, MPT    -    Physical Therapist

I have been a Physical Therapist for 25+ years, nearly all of them in the Lakewood and University Place areas after graduating from the University of Puget Sound School of Physical Therapy.

I genuinely love being a physical therapist and working directly with people; it is something I have always had a passion for. I believe that physical therapists have a tremendously important role in providing education, reassurance, and helping people achieve their goals to improve their function and quality of life.

It is a privilege to treat people and help them realize their physical potential and wellness goals.

Back in my “previous life,” I was honored to be a cycling coach at the “LokoSphinx” Cycling Olympic Center in St. Petersburg, Russia. I have run a marathon and competed in a few triathlons, which allows me to relate to my patients. In my spare time, I enjoy running, skiing, diving, rooting for the Sounders, Seahawks, and now Kraken, traveling, and spending time with my family.

Credentials:

  • Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, WA: 1999

  • Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science/Coaching from Lesgaft National State University of Physical Education, Sports, and Health, St Petersburg, Russia: 1991

I am a transplant from Pennsylvania and moved here in 2020 after graduating from Lebanon Valley College with Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Being a physical therapist is extremely rewarding because I get to spend time with patients of different backgrounds, build a connection, and watch them improve. I love exploring the beautiful state of Washington with my daughter, husband, and dog!

Rachel King, DPT, CSCS - Physical Therapist

Hi, I’m Rachel. I’ve been a practicing physical therapist for over 10 years. My undergraduate degree is from Washington State University (Go Cougs!) and went on to receive Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences. I am also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), which allows me to incorporate progressive strength training into my patients’ rehabilitation plans when appropriate.

I’m passionate about helping people return to a pain-free life and reach their functional goals - whether that’s getting back to work, hobbies, or simply enjoying daily activities again. I particularly enjoy working with motivated individuals and believe that manual therapy skills, combined with targeted exercise programs, can make a real difference in recovery.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy traveling, hiking, gardening, crafting, and soaking up the sun. I’m also also the proud manager of her cats Instagram account, where I embraces a role of a #petinfluencer.

- Doctor of Physical Therapy; Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona, CA: 2014

Addison larson, PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant

Hi there! My name is Addie, I am Physical Therapist Assistant, and I have been working with the Complete PT family in Lakewood since July 2024.

My interest in physical therapy began with myself being a patient during my years playing soccer in the Pacific Northwest growing up. I always enjoyed the environment of people helping each other become the best versions of themselves, with physical aspects being the main goal but mental and emotional benefits are a by-product as well.

I do truly enjoy encouraging patients where they need it, and becoming a team member of their recovery process.

- Associate in Applied Science, Physical Therapist Assistant; Green River Community College: 2024

Daniela Sanchez - Office Coordinator

Hi, I’m Daniela! I’m currently studying to become a nurse, and working here at “Complete” has been a great fit while I’m in school. The flexibility of schedule helps me to balance study and work every semester to prioritize school, and I genuinely enjoy being part of a friendly and supportive team.

There’s never a dull moment at the front desk — every day brings something new, and I like the challenge of helping things run smoothly. While therapists think they run this place, it is actually front desk :)

Daria Sahan - PT Aide / Office coordinator

This info is updated and coming up shortly! :)

Nicole Sahan - Office Coordinator

Hello! I’m Nicole, and I work at the front desk, where I help patients to get scheduled , assist with paperwork, and make sure everyone receives a warm welcome. I enjoy creating a friendly, positive experience for each person who comes into our clinic or contacts us over the phone.

I’m currently a college student in the computer science program, and working at Complete Physical & Hand Therapy allows me to balance school and work hours.

Lani Messmer, OTR/L - Hand Therapist, Occupational Therapist

My passion for hand therapy is deeply personal, shaped by my own experience recovering from a metacarpal fracture that resulted in hand deformity and nerve damage. That experience gave me firsthand insight into how profoundly a hand injury can affect daily life - and how critical skilled, timely rehabilitation truly is.

Driven by the belief that no one should have to live with preventable pain, dysfunction, or uncertainty, I am dedicated to helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes after an injury or surgery. I combine evidence-based treatment with a thoughtful, individualized approach, focusing not only on physical recovery but also on education, confidence, and long-term function.

I work closely with each patient to understand their goals and concerns, offering clear guidance, hands-on care, and practical strategies that empower them throughout the rehabilitation process. My care philosophy is rooted in empathy, precision, and advocacy - ensuring patients feel supported, informed, and never dismissed.

Through my work, I strive to help others avoid the challenges I faced faced, and to ensure every patient receives the attentive, skilled care their hands deserve.

In my free time I enjoy snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, weight training, recreational soccer, and spending time with my son Rainer, and partner Erick.

Jennifer Altimari, OTR/L - Hand Therapist, Occupational Therapist

I have long been drawn to a career in health care where I could build meaningful relationships with clients and help them live as independently as possible. I began my career as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and, after four years in that role, went on to earn my degree as an Occupational Therapist.

With over a decade of clinical experience, I have worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient therapy and skilled nursing facilities. Since 2018, as an occupational therapist I have specialized in treating post-surgical upper extremity orthopedic injuries, where my true passion lies in the field of hand therapy.

Outside of work, I enjoy creating new memories with my family and friends. We recently welcomed a baby boy in May 2025, marking a joyful new chapter in my life.

- Associate in Science Degree, Occupational Therapy Assistant; New England Institute of Technology, RI; 2013

- Master of Science in Occupational Therapy; New England Institute of Technology, RI; 2018

Dlana JOyner, OTR/L - Hand Therapist, Occupational Therapist

I was born and raised in the PNW with a notable 3 year stint in Europe in the mid ’70s. I have a small close family ages ranging from 2 y/o to 83! We enjoy getting together frequently at my brother’s farm on the Olympic Peninsula.

As an occupational therapist I worked in home health as well as acute and sub-acute rehabilitation for several years before transitioning to outpatient rehabilitation and hand therapy. Moved to Washington in 2010 and have worked outpatient care with focus primarily in hand therapy and work injury.

I greatly enjoy working closely with my clients to help them heal and regain function. I ‘landed’ at Complete Physical & Hand Therapy in 2021.  I am comfortable and happy with the atmosphere that is conducive to professional growth and patient centered care at CPT.

Kayla Weyerhaeuser, PT, DPT - Physical Therapist

I have been a physical therapist for almost 10 years. My favorite part of this job is creating a plan of care specific to the individual needs of my patient. It brings me joy to watch my patients relearn their function and gain physical skills for a return to a healthy and productive lifestyle.

I have a passion for helping people and when I am not working at Complete Physical Therapy- I spend time volunteering in various ways in our Tacoma/Lakewood/University Place community.

I am a mother to two energetic little boys that keep me on my toes most days. I enjoy spending time with my family exploring our city, taking vacations, going on walks. I also enjoy working out and you can find me at Orange Theory Fitness these days.
